Joe Holmes, transformed himself completely during the 1996-leg of the Ozzmosis tour the day he got his new haircut (everybody who knows Joe, know which haircut I refer to). It may sound silly, but after new haircut, his playing and stage performance turned into something out-of-this-world (referring to your Donnington 1996 performance for instance, that one changed my life).

You were just so insane cool and played better than any of your predecessors (you certainly left Zakk in the dust by a landslide), and also you had the world’s most insane split-harmonics (remember Joe used Fender guitars, which makes them even more insane to perform so brutal), would go on to become the all-time greatest and coolest Ozzy guitarist.

Thank you for that day you gave me a ride in your car, the most special day in my life save for the day I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ, some years after.

Also, if you should happened to read this: Forgive me for all the tapes, CD’s and silly letters I sent all those years ago. But you just lid a fire in me that drove me to the extreme in order to obtain what you had: The Ozzy gig. Take it as a compliment.

I never know what happened to you, you went underground after Ozzy. I just pray for you every day that the Lord Jesus Christ is keeping you and blessing you.

I love you, Joe!
